| Description of the problem | The clutch master cylinder in my vehicle has gone bad. The part has been ordered but it is on back order across the united states. It will take a week for the part to be made and received to complete the repair. According to my repair technician, when trying to locate this part, it has been determined that this is a problem in jeeps across the nation. I have contacted jeep, and they are unwilling to look into or assist in the situation. My entire clutch system had to be replaced and the cost, at this point, is outrageous = $1315. 92. Luckily, my vehicle was parked when it no longer would change gears, but i have children, and if the gears had locked up while the car was in motion, we would all be dead! *tt |
