| Description of the problem | After filling up the gas tank the car repeatedly stalls. It is not being over-filled. Not human error. Extremely dangerous. Stalls in traffic - no warning. Just quits. Repeatedly. Numerous trips to the dealer and lots of money spent and it was not repaired. Complained to chrysler who recommended we take it to another dealer. We did. The entire fuel tank had to be replaced. Mechanics familiar with the problem. Nhtsa site documents 35 reports of the same problem. 16 reports in 2016. Numerous also in the 2008 jeep. There needs to be an investigation into why no recall recommended. |
