| Description of the problem | I purchased a new 2009 jeep patriot in december of 2008, since i've owned the car i've only put 7200 miles on that car and have had it in the shop twice for what feels to be the same problem. The last time it was in they said it was the air box, problem solved... About 1,000 miles later the same problems with the car returned. These problems being, loss of power on acceleration, intermittent loss of engine power uphill, near stalls in reverse. When i need to accelerate quickly, the rpms red-line for me to get enough behind the car to move. |
