| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep patriot 4x4. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, she noticed a loud grinding noise. Approximately 20,000 miles later the transmission experienced the same failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where they advised her that the transmission had failed a second time.
