| Description of the problem | While having tires installed on my 2007 jeep patriot, the technician advised me that my ball joints were bad and that it was imperative to get it fixed as this is a safety issue. Being a female and not wanting anyone to take advantage of me i took my jeep to get a second opinion. The second technician told me the same thing and that i could lose steering at anytime. They both quoted me somewhere in 1,000 dollar range to fix my jeep. I have gotten online and read several forums with the same complaint on the patriot. Seems like chrysler needs to be notified of this serious safety issue with its product. *ln |
