| Description of the problem | The jeep patriot has an issue with the abs ecu programing. When the abs wheel speed sensor faults the ecu detects it as a wheel speed change. Activating the abs brakes. Unlike every other car when the sensor is faulting it should just simply turn off the abs system and display a fault code. This is dangerous and almost caused me an accident when the brakes started activating on their own. |
