Description of the problem	My car's manual transmission died at 115,000 miles. I've had this car a year and am still paying it off. Now i have to pay another $4,400 to get my transmission replaced. I've been told by several repair shops and the dealer that i bought it from that this is a common problem between 90,000-100,000 miles with this transmission. Not only that, but the part that fails is permanent so you have to replace the whole thing and it's very spendy. Be very careful when purchasing used 2007 jeep patriots. You will probably have the same problem as i did. Very disappointed.
