Description of the problem	This is a one-owner 2007 jeep patriot 4wd with 86000 miles. The cvt transmission has gone out. The dealer has no explanation for the failure. Of course the 3/36 warranty is up! Dealer says they can only replace at a cost of $4500. How can a vehicle with only 86000 miles need a new transmission!
