| Description of the problem | The problem has been ongoing for over a year even after trying several different expensive corrective repairs. After refueling my jeep patriot, it stalls bucks and jerks. I start it up, and upon pressing the accelerator and pull away from pumps or out into traffic it begins to sputter buck and stall. It is very dangerouse esecially when pulling out of a gas station into traffic which has caused several close calls of my being hit because it has stalled in intersections and on the highway. I relaced the o2 sensor and it did not correct the situation. I used higher octane fuel and it did not correct the situation. I used fuel treatment purchased from dealership upon their advisement after replacing the fuel filter and having the fuel system serviced and it did not correct the situation. |
