| Description of the problem | Although the wire to the starter had been replaced in october 2010 by the dealer, the car was still having problems starting. I took my car to a relative to check my car since nothing was really getting resolved at the dealer. Once my car was turned off it would not restart. My car was examined and the wire they replaced was not placed back into the protective casing and was slightly charred. In addition, the starter was burnt out and needed to be replaced. The core was kept by the auto part store the new one was purchased from. The dealership said replacement of my starter would not be covered under warranty. It was very surprising the starter had to be replaced just after 3 years. |
