| Description of the problem | My car horn randomly honks on its own at various times. I had logged the incidents for over a month to see if there was any similarities among the incidents and there were none. Speed, outside temperature, turning vs straight driving all have nothing to do with it. The horn will honk short bursts as well as long honks that will stop when i push the steering wheel horn button. There have been numerous times when in a parking lot or at a stop light it goes off and people think i am doing it. I am very afraid that it will cause a road rage incident/accident. I have taken it to the dealer 2 times and my mechanic once. Neither have found any problems with the diagnostics that were run. |
