| Description of the problem | The display/electronic system appeared to be hijacked during my commute to work. The hacker began by changing the radio from sirius xm to an am station, then began changing settings (climate control of seats), viewed connected devices (usb, media etc.), then switched to view the rear view camera, viewed the compass, viewed phone settings and dialed the last number dialed from my phone. The hacker kept going back to settings, rear view camera, radio and climate control. This all happened in a short amount of time and continued even after i had stopped the vehicle and turned my cell phone off. I left my phone off until i arrived at work and the hacker was still messing with settings and radio. I turned the vehicle off and opened the door to drop the display and all electronic auxiliary power. |
