Description of the problem	My car has 3500 mile on it. My car was stationary however it was in gear, i was at a stop light, and had taken my foot off the brake and put my foot on the gas pedal when the light changed to green. It lurched and then all of a sudden came up with a message saying "place car in park then select gear" while lights were flashing at the gear shifter at the d where it was at and on the dashboard indicator where indicating that my car was in "drive" i had to put the car in park in the middle of the road with a green light and then put it back into drive and luckily it did engage. I have read that other people have had this happen to them while moving and on the freeway, which scares me because i was about a mile from getting onto the freeway myself. The car would not let me do anything until i put it into drive, so if this had happened while going 65 miles an hour it could have been very hazardous.
