| Description of the problem | Throttle response hesitates from 1. 5 to 2 full seconds during acceleration in intersections and stop and go situations. This is definitely a collision waiting to happen situation. The problem is especially annoying in 4x4 low range situations. The engine over accelerates when throttle response finally kicks-in causing vehicle to jump forward. This sudden acceleration often jolts the transmission and drivetrain startling the driver. Dealership has investigated saying it is a normal delay in the computer operated throttle. That is bs. Any delay in throttle response with subsequent over acceleration is a safety concern that needs to be addressed! |
