| Description of the problem | I specifically purchased a 2017 jeep grand cherokee 4x4 to cope with winters in detroit, michigan. However, after only two snowfalls the vehicle has slid four times on city streets and more significantly fish tailed on an i-75 off ramp. In no instances did the 4x4 system try to correct through or notify the operator. In one instance the abs was able to safely bring me to a stop over the line at a four way stop intersection. This is behavior is unsafe for everyday expected driving scenarios. More should be expected of a model year 2017 4x4 vehicle sold in michigan. Unsafe. I now need to spend $900-$1000 to remediate the situation by buying better tires than those provided by the oem. |
