Description of the problem	The vehicle hangs in park. It will let you move the shifter but it stays in park. On the dash it shows vehicle in desired gear. There is a box in the rear of the console that you can open and using a key push in a bar and sometimes it will come out of park and let you shift to reverse or drive. It has hung 6-7 times and has cost me $75 each time to have it towed to the dealership. Each time they have told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it and they dont check anything. There has to . Be something in the shifter or transmission. I have driven jeeps since 1993 and this is the biggest problem i've had. I'm afraid to drive the jeep except locally. I dont know if it resets or whatever when they load it on the tow truck but the man that drives the truck saw exactly what it was doing. I bought this vehicle new and i want it fixed. Please take care of my problem.
