Description of the problem	While driving on a city street and approaching a busy intersection, my windshield wipers started in motion and the lights on the dashboard lit up for a brief second, to include the battery light. The stop light was red and i fully stopped. When the light turned green, i stepped on the gas to accelerate to make a left turn into the intersection when my vehicle moved mere inches before it completely shutdown. This all happened within a minute with no warning. Two trucks attempted to jump my jeep, but all that happened was the jumper cables started to smoke and heat to the point they were untouchable. I had to have my jeep towed to a near by chrysler dealership where the alternator and battery failed and had to be replaced. There is a similar recall for 2014 jeep grand cherokees dealing with the alternator, but i was told that my jeep was manufactured with a 180amp and not the 160amp listed in the recall.
