| Description of the problem | On august 4, 2017 after starting my jeep and driving away from parking space i had no brakes at all when trying to stop - fortunately i wasn't going more than 25 mph when i noticed the problem - i was able to coast into a curb and stop. There was no prior warning and no warning lights and the brakes seemed ok the night before when i parked the car. I had to have the car towed to a dealer where they charged me $718. 54 to install a new power brake booster which they said was no longer under warranty. The jeep had 42834 miles at the time. If this had happened on i-25 which is where i was heading i would not have been able to stop at all. |
