Description of the problemWhile driving (motion) on highway 378 - lexington, sc - 2/14/20, the passenger seat popped out unexpectedly, luckily no one was sitting in the passenger seat at the time. I'm worried this will happen with my driver's head seat at this time. I went to the dealership to get it fixed and they said would cost me $700, since my warranty was expired. I called chrysler/jeep customer service and filed a claim for them to waive the $700 fee. They told me that since i was the (2nd) owner not the original owner and that my warranty was expired they denied my claim. I told them when i bought the car there have been no wrecks recorded on the vehicle at all, this was crazy to me, that they wouldn't fix my passenger head seat. I filed the claim on 2/28/20 @ 1-800-992-1997. I was at the chrysler/jeep dealership located in columbia, sc.
