| Description of the problem | Front passenger seat squeaks excessively. Dealership said the (metal) set track is somehow worn down causing the seat not to sit firmly in the track. This play between the set track and seat is what is causing the squeaking. They advised me on replacing the entire seat track assembly. How could a seat that does not properly sit in the track not a safety concern if an accident occurs? Also, how does the metal seat track get that worn on a fairly new vehicle that barley gets used (front passenger)? |
