| Component | SEAT BELTS |

| Description of the problem | The seat belt does not retract back into the plastic seat belt guide. The plastic guide is cracked from normal usage over time. The seat belt will not lock up to help save a person's life if there is an accident. With the seat belt the way it is, it acts more like a lap restraint on a children's amusement park ride. It is alarming that this has not been fixed by jeep based on how serious of a safety issue this is and how many people i have talked to have the same issue with their jeep grand cherokee. |
