| Description of the problem | For both the driver and passenger front seatbelts, the upper hanging (belt) bracket which attaches to the height adjustment feature has cracked. The driver side is more severe than the passenger side, rendering it useless as it prevents the belt from properly tensioning/retracting. This issue was noticed last week during a trip to northern nevada area where temperatures were at a low of below zero degrees (f), and after driving on dirt roads (described by bureau of land management as roads accessible to passenger cars). |
