| Description of the problem | Chrysler will not cover a malfunction in their seat belts. They are directly responsible for seat belt not working and will not cover their parts under any warranties leaving me to drive around with a non-working seat belt. If the issue was because of my doing i would be more willing to pay to have it fixed - the problem is their plastics break without notice (picture attached). I have a barely 4 year old car and the seat belt is already broken and have gotten no help from any jeep dealership. I was under the assumption it was federal law to mandate a lifetime warranty on seat belts since it is a safety issue. |
