| Description of the problem | I had reached into the storage and outlet trey in the center counsel while going down the highway. My jacket sleeve apparently hit the gear shift and bumped it into neutral. When i realize what was happening i had to apply the brake and push the button on the gear shifter to return it to drive. I reach in this storage tray many time a day and have had this happen before, just not going 70 mph on a highway. If this stick is highly programmable, why can it not be programed to require me to push the gear shift button to change from drive to neutral?? This is dangerous and distracting when driving. Their is not much room for your arm to reach over the shifter to retrieve items in the trey. |
