| Description of the problem | When i attempt to accelerate quickly, the car seems to shift into neutral (although it doesn't display that it is in neutral on the screen) and will not accelerate. The engine still revs when i push the accelerator, but the car acts as if it is in neutral and the car will not accelerate. This problem has occurred several times in my vehicle, and each time i have been traveling at speeds of greater than 40 mph and it has occurred when i have attempted to accelerate quicker than normal, such as when i am merging on to the highway. I believe it is a problem with either the transmission or the computer that operates the transmission. |
