| Description of the problem | The vehicle lost partial power while traveling on the highway at approximately 65mph and became difficult to control creating an extremely dangerous situation. There were no symptoms or other indicators prior to power loss. The vehicle is well maintained, 5-years old and has approximately 85,000 miles. Initial diagnosis by independent indicated the number 3 cylinder lost compression which should not have occurred on a vehicle in this good of condition but was a problem common in jeeps and chrysler is well aware of the problem. The vehicle was moved to jeep dealer for further diagnosis and repair. |
