Description of the problem	Several months ago all power on my jepp cut off as i was driving on a 55 mph two lane road. I was able to pull off to the side of the road and re-start the vehicle. I took the vehicle to the jeep dealer and they did a "computer upgrade" which they said resolved the issue. Since that time the vehicle has operated correctly. I 'm currently on a road trip from punta gorda, fl to panama city, fl - some 500 miles from my home. Over the past two days, the vehicle has completely lost post five times while in motion, which is extremely dangerous when traveling on i-75 at 70 mph. I called the local jeep dealership in panama city, and they indicated they were unable to assist me because they already had several cars sitting on their lot (that drivers would not operate) because of the same issue. There are currently no replacement parts available. They would not authorize a rental car, nor had any timeframe available for resolution of this issue. I am currently in the position of being 500 miles from home, while i am scheduled to assist with placing an elderly aunt and and uncle in an assisted living facility on wednesday. I called the jeep customer care line, and they said they would assign a "case manager" to look at my situation, but i have received no response from them thus far. It should be noted that this is the sixth recall that i received on a vehicle that is less than four years old. The consumer stated the vehicle was repaired. *js
