| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at highway speeds over 80 mph, the check engine warning light illuminate and the speed was reduced to 40 mph with a knocking sound coming from the engine. The vehcile was taken to an unknown dealer who diagnosed that the engine coil packs were defective and needed to be replaced. The contact indicated that the coil packs were replaced on 7 separate occasions for the same failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 42,000. |
