| Description of the problem | At 115,000 i noticed a puddle of oil under the car. Took it to a repair shop the diagnosed as a bad transmission pan and performed the repair at a cost of $390. 35. I picked up the vehicle from the repair shop and took it home. The following night i noticed a puddle of oil under the vehicle again and worse then when i took it in the first time. After further diagnostics it was determined the oil filter adapter housing was cracked and need replacement. I had the repair done at a cost of $1027. 03. After doing some research i noticed this seems to be an issue with the 3. 6 v6. |
