Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle made a squealing and whining noise and there was a burning odor underneath the hood. While driving approximately 35 mph, the abs, power steering, and brake warning indicators illuminated. Also, the windshield wipers and other components began to malfunction. The contact parked and turned off the vehicle, but it failed to restart. The contact replaced the battery, which caused the vehicle to operate appropriately for a short period of time before the warning indicators illuminated again. The contact checked under the hood and noticed smoke coming from the alternator. The contact stated the alternator and battery failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired.
