| Description of the problem | The def injector for the 2014 jeep grand cherokee ecodiesel is located underneath the vehicle behind the rear wheels. It is very brittle and sensitive and if a rock or splashing water from the tire hits the injector it will break. The jeep will then give only 200 miles to the driver and then won't start. This severely affects the confidence of long distance travel of the driver. There is no skid plate or protective panel to mitigate this issue except it breaking and getting it fixed under warranty. Even with the optional off road packages does it not get a protective panel. |
