Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. Without warning, the contact noticed smoke rising from under the hood. The vehicle was taken to a dealer (phillips chrysler jeep dodge ram, 3440 s pine ave, ocala, fl 34471, (352) 732-7577) where it was diagnosed that the alternator assembly needed to be replaced. The alternator was replaced and the dealer indicated that the vehicle was excluded from nhtsa campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system) due to the amp being 180 and not 160. It was unknown if the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 17v435000 (electrical system).
