Description of the problem	Info only brought vehicle in for oil change and safety recall p60/nhtsa 14v-634 was also done. Replacing alternator to prevent failure, loss of power, short .... Resulting in vehicle shutdown. Had to tow vehicle to dealer because what the recall was to prevent actually happened after the recall repair. Alternator burned up eventually causing loss of power to vehicle, fortunately vehicle was parked and could not be started without charging battery. Vehicle towed to dealer and they again replaced the alternator. My concern is chrysler's fix does not fix the problem as it occurred after the recall repair was done. I will assume this was an isolated incident and the dealer accomplished the repair to my satisfaction. I do want you to have this information in a data base should more vehicles continue to fail in the same mode after the recall repair was made.
