Description of the problem	The entire stereo screen all of the sudden "blacked out" not allowing any controls to work. Every 20 seconds the blacked out screen goes blue with a message to "please insert update usb". The bill luke dealership states that this is not covered under the warranty and no recalls on this. However, states this problem is common requiring the entire head/stereo unit to be replaced. Recall #p6/nhtsa 14v-634 states that depending on the alternator failure mode and timing that the esc (electronic stability control) or ecm (electronic control module) can be disabled. Even though there are not other issues with this jeep at this time, who is to say that this recall is not affecting the stereo/head unit? It is a possibility. I should not have to pay to replace a stereo/head unit in a new 2014 vehicle that stopped working by a defect that is no fault of mine.
