| Description of the problem | While traveling on a roadway at approximately 20 mph, what appeared to be a tiny pebble struck my front windshield, which resulted in a chip in my windshield. Shortly thereafter, the chip resulted in a crack that spanned the entire horizontal length of my windshield. I have had driven/owned other non-jeep vehicles in which windshields were struck by larger pebbles/rocks and survived without having sustained any damage. Additionally, my husband's 2013 jeep wrangler has sustained cracked front windshields on two separate occasions within a three month period. Design defect?? Substandard front windshield??? |
