| Description of the problem | The vehicle has stopped dead on at least 8 occasions over the last year. The car is running and moving but suddenly stops. No lights no motor noise no ability to steer off the road. It seems to occur at city speeds and streets never on a highway nothing has showed up on diagnostics and no one seems to be able to fix it. I am afraid to drive it. The jeep dealership says there is nothing wrong on diagnostics so there is nothing to fix. The dealerships head mechanic is not returning calls. I was researching and found that there may have been a recall on this issue with the same make and model including 2011 to 2014. Mine is 2013. The dealership will not speak to this issue. I do not know what a takayuki recall is, i gave the last date this happend. |
