| Description of the problem | I bought my jeep last year sometime in towards the end of march. It was towards the middle of the summer i started to noticed the leather on my front dashboard starting to lift and bubble in some areas. By the end of the summer u have massive areas that are starting to bunch up all over my dashboard. As i started to look the problem up due to ive never seen a dashboard do this before. Ive come to learn this is a issue on alot of jeeps my year and jeep is doing nothing about it. I brought it to a upholstery shop and they also said they have seen this alot on the jeep of my year and that jeep wont do anything to fix it. Then the shops says its gonna cost almost 4-6 thousand to repair due to the leather on the dash is shrinking and that they would have to replace the whole dashboard. |
