Description of the problem	I have a 2013 jeep grand cherokee limited 4x4 and had a ticking noise when starting the vehicle and turning it off that comes and goes away. We have had it diagnosed to be the transfer case module and when researching to see if i can buy the part, i was advised it's on a national backorder with the dealer and aftermarket. Also while researching, saw multiple reports stating that when this happened the car stalls while driving multiple times and makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. My vehicle is used for work and driven all day on the freeway. I've also read that there are no warning signs and then it's blown out and unable to be driven until fixed. I worry about driving the vehicle at all as i don't want it stalling on the highway or anywhere else. I worry it will cause an accident i can't prevent as the vehicle may just suddenly stall in the middle of driving. Been a reoccurring issue for myself for about a month or two.
