| Description of the problem | I keep experiencing the same issue -- vehicle won't start after long extended crank and then shuts off. Approximately two years ago the entire fuel pump was replaced, yet the same issue has reoccurred. This time it was diagnosed as a wiring issue to the fuel pump relay. Fiat chrysler automobiles (fca) refused to reimburse january 2018 and again july 2020. There is currently an open recall (v62 / nhtsa 19v-813 and r09 / nhtsa 14v-115) with no remedy related to the fuel pump that renders the vehicle unsafe to drive. I have requested they replace or refund the vehicle. |
