The contact stated that after the vehicle was serviced for the nhtsa campaign number: 19v813000 (electrical system) a temporary fix was installed due to the part not being available the local dealer wickstrom jeep located at 660 w northwest hwy, barrington, il 60010 had installed an external fuel pump relay. The contact indicated that the vehicle would stall while driving and on occasions would not immediately start. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that fuel pump had experienced melting due to the temporary fix of the exterior fuel pump relay. The local dealer wickstrom jeep located at 660 w northwest hwy, barrington, il 60010 was notified of the failure and advised that the permanent repair for the recall was still not available.
