Description of the problem	The tipm failed on the vehicle while driving down the road bringing the vehicle to a sudden stop. All functions in the car were halted. This resulted in stranding my teenage daughter in the middle of a busy road in a very dangerous situation. After being towed to the dealership they informed me that it would cost me $1349. 36 to replace the faulty tipm. Numerous research into this problem reveals many similar problems with the tipm from jeep which could likely to result in serious safety related problems not to mention very costly repairs. This problem should be addressed further.
