| Description of the problem | Driving home from work on friday evening of labor day weekend (9/1/2017) the check engine light in my vehicle went on. I took my car to a good year dealership in town. They told me my alternator was going out and needed to be replaced. They were not aware of any recalls on that vehicle at that time although, i do think one existed. When i contacted jeep about this the following week they indicated a recall was in place and i needed to submit a form for reimbursment. I have checked with jeep several times and they indicated that they have the necessary paperwork but will not be issueing refund checks until 2018. This is five months after i have incurred the expense and submitted a request for reimbursement. |
