Description of the problem	I was driving my vehicle, when all of the sudden the vehicle's display panel started to flash various messages (i. E. Park brake assist, safety belt, battery, etc.). While this happened, the vehicle began to loose power and i was able to cruise slowly into a parking lot, in which it crept into a complete stop. I turned off the vehicle and attempted to turn it back on and it would not crank nor would any lights turn on. I had a friend try and jump the vehicle but it would not hold a charge, and there was an electrical smell coming from the alternator. The vehicle was then towed and brought to a jeep dealership, were they had diagnosed that the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced.
