| Description of the problem | June 16, 2017 - vehicle was in motion being driven on city street. Day earlier, the vehicle's "check engine light" appeared. Brought to mechanic who initially diagnosed as an evaporator/ vacuum sensor failure. Next day, dashboard began to display other warning lights in rapid succession which was then followed by loss of a/c and within minutes stalled. Turned off roadway just before suffering complete loss of power in office parking lot. Vehicle towed to mechanic shop who performed test and declared alternator failure which is being replaced. Description similar to recall announced in october 2014- nhtsa reference #14v634000. |
