Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 jeep grand cherokee. While driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle made a strange high pitched noise. Afterwards the vehicle's power suddenly failed. The contact was able to pull the vehicle over to the side of the road and noticed smoke underneath the hood. The contact opened the hood and noticed a burning odor. The contact had the vehicle towed to the dutch miller jeep dealer where it was diagnosed that the alternator failed and caused the battery to burn out. The alternator, battery, and circuit board needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
