Description of the problem	As i was driving the car shut off and power steering went out. I barely made it safely to my destination. We called our jeep dealer and there were a few recalls. We were able to get the jeep to the dealer. They told me it was the alternator and battery. There is currently a recall on the alternator for the 2013 jeep grand cherokee (p60/nhtsa 14v-634); however, they claim that my 180 amp is not covered. What i experienced is exactly like the description of this recall. Luckily i was driving when this occurred, because i don't think my wife would have been able to control the vehicle to a safe stop. They are not honoring the recall to replace my parts. More importantly, they are not including my vehicle in the recall because its 180 amps; however, this is a tremendous risk to any owners of this vehicle and i was not notified. I discussed this at length with fiat chrysler automobiles (fca) on 03/02/2017. I spoke to customer representative ramario and nicole.
