| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 jeep grand cherokee. While driving approximately 70 mph, the contact heard an usual noise and the vehicle began to vibrate violently. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the lug nuts on the rear passenger wheel fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred on the rear driver side wheel, and then again on the rear passenger side wheel. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
