| Description of the problem | 4 times in the last 3 weeks, the last time just today, as i was decelerating and turning right while getting off highways onto exit ramps, the steering wheel felt like it locked - the power steering turned off, as did the power brakes - i had to coast, and the rpms showed 0, although all the lights were still on. I was forced to put the car in park - while still on the exit ramp - turn off the car and turn it on again to get it to drive normally. Which it did, as if nothing had happened. But it's unnerving and certainly unsafe, and a quick search on the internet reveals it seems to happen quite frequently to other jeep grand cherokee 2012 drivers. |
