Description of the problem | While my wife was driving the car with my 18month old son in the vehicle the brake stopped working. She was able to coast her way to the nearest dealership where it was determined that the power brakebooster went. This cost us $500 to fix because both the manufacturer and dealership said its not covered on extended warranty as its "ware and tear". In my opinion if the breaks of a 2012 car fail to work this is not ware and tear but a very serious and dangerous defect with the car. I am very concerned that this could happen again with a much worse outcome. |
