Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2012 jeep grand cherokee. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v813000 (electrical system) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was taken to mancari's chrysler dodge jeep ram (4630 95th st, oak lawn, il 60453; (708) 423-0910) where it was confirmed that the part was not available and that the manufacturer was only providing one part per week. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate the vehicle would fail to accelerate intermittently, as well as, there was no warning light to indicate when the failure would occur. The contact would have to release the acceleration pedal and slow down first before they could pick up in speed. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who informed the contact that their fuel pump relay switch needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the recall was regarding the vehicle's external relay switch, which, was outside of the relay box. The contact was told by the dealer that they could replace the entire relay system. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, however, they decided not to replace the entire relay box. The approximate failure mileage was 112,000.
